Tap Sign In / Register above and sign in with your Google account. No separate password needed. On first login you'll complete a short profile setup — name, WhatsApp number, and base currency.

No separate registration needed. Your Google account is your login. On first sign-in you'll go through a quick onboarding: set your name, WhatsApp (+country code), Gmail, and preferred currency. Optionally connect Google Drive for automatic backups.

After first sign-in you'll set: (1) First & last name, (2) WhatsApp in +countrycode format e.g. +6591234567, (3) Gmail address, (4) Base reporting currency (INR, SGD, USD etc.). These personalise reports and enable group features. You can change them anytime in Settings.

Yes! Open the app URL in Safari on iPhone. For a native-app feel: tap the Share button (📤) → Add to Home Screen. The app runs full-screen without the address bar. An Android APK is also available for native install.

Go to the Add tab (➕), choose Receipt Images, and upload a JPG, PNG, or PDF. The multi-agentic AI pipeline extracts vendor, date, total, line items, and category automatically. Review the result and approve.

Just type naturally in the Chat tab. Examples: "expense 450 INR on fruits", "spent ₹500 at Swiggy today", "paid 25 SGD for taxi". A confirmation card appears — review and edit, then tap Add Expense.

In the Add tab, choose Credit Card Statement or Bank Statement. Upload a CSV or PDF file. All transactions are parsed automatically. Review the list, uncheck any you don't want, and tap Process Statement.

Receipts: JPG, PNG, PDF. Statements: CSV, TSV, PDF. The Chat tab's 📎 smart upload button auto-detects the file type and routes it to the correct pipeline — no need to choose manually.

Pending — newly added, awaiting review. ✅ Approved — confirmed real expense. ❌ Rejected — not an expense (e.g. refund). ⚠️ Duplicate — possible duplicate. 🔄 Processing — AI extracting data. 📋 Queued — waiting to be processed.

If stuck for more than 3 minutes, click the ▶ Re-extract button on the processing card to restart extraction. If it keeps failing, click ✕ Cancel to remove it and re-upload. Check Settings > LLM Providers if errors persist.

The 📊 Insights tab shows: total spend, approved/pending/rejected counts, category breakdown with %, top vendors, payment methods, expense timeline chart, and tax-deductible estimates. Use the timeframe selector (7D, 30D, 90D, Year, All) to filter.

In the Analytics tab, click 📄 PDF Report. Choose a timeframe (Last Month, Quarter, Year, All Time) and download. The PDF includes your name, expense summary, category breakdown, vendor breakdown, and individual rows.

The 🔮 Wisdom tab provides AI-powered financial insights: Burn Rate gauge (how fast you're spending), Subscription Stack (recurring charges), Need vs Want Drift (6-month trend), Vendor Density, and Nudges (spending alerts with action buttons).

Nudges are AI-generated spending alerts — e.g. "3 forgotten subscriptions detected" or "Entertainment spiked 40%". Each nudge has action buttons: Monitor, Acknowledge, Justify (add a note), or Dismiss. Dismissed nudges can be shown again.

The Chat AI can: add expenses by natural text, approve/reject expenses, show spending summaries, generate PDF reports, trigger Google Drive backup, upload receipts/statements via the 📎 button, split expenses with groups, show wisdom insights, and answer any app question.

Type: "approve all pending expenses", "reject last expense", or "approve Swiggy expense". An action card appears listing matched expenses — confirm to apply. You can also tap the Approve X pending pill above the chat input.

Go to Settings > Groups, create a group and add members (WhatsApp + Gmail). Then share any expense to the group. Choose split method: Equal (divide evenly), Itemized (each person pays for specific items), or Custom (set each person's amount manually).

Basic family sharing (viewing and approving shared expenses) is available on the Free plan. Creating multiple groups, itemized splits, custom amounts, and settlement tracking require the Pro plan ($3/month or $30/year).

Connect Google Drive in Settings > Profile > Google Drive. After connecting, backups happen automatically ~5 minutes after any data change. You can also tap Backup Now for an immediate backup. Restores are available from the backup list.

Settings > Profile > Google Drive > List Backups. All backups are shown with dates and sizes. Tap Restore on the one you want. A full restore replaces your current data — confirm carefully. Archive backups are permanent immutable snapshots.

In the app, tap your profile avatar (top right) → Subscription. Select the Pro plan ($3/month or $30/year), enter your card details, and confirm. All Pro features unlock immediately.

Click the ✏️ Edit button on the expense in the Review tab. You can manually correct vendor, amount, date, currency, category, and line items. For a full re-extraction from the original image, click ▶ Re-extract.

Check the CSV format — the parser expects standard columns (Date, Description, Amount). Open it in Excel to verify. Some bank CSVs use non-standard encoding — try saving as UTF-8 CSV. For PDF statements, ensure it's text-based (not a scanned image). Re-upload after fixing.
